This fusion rifle seems to be slowly taking over matchmaking, especially in lower player playlist like the 3v3.
The fact that you know when a player is around the corner by radar you ready up the fusion to when a player turns the corner and [b][u]BOOM[/u][/b]!!! One shot kill in a wide shot maybe a double.
Now i know theres a way to beat them. Stay outside and keep a [i]great[/i] distance. But could they be debuffed to fewer beams or a longer charge up???

Edited by Failure4Life: 9/10/2014 11:23:37 AMI've been having more issues with the rapid fire shotguns killing me at range (15ish meters) before I'm even able to take down people's shields. An easy was to avoid the Fusion Rifle is to strafe sideways. It stops all the bolts from hitting you and will allow you to survive any Fusion rifle shot at any ranger further than about 5 meters.

3 RepliesPeople will find a counter and then everyone will be doing that for a while. Then instead of a snake problem, you'll have a ferret problem. Bungie playtesters have already gone through these motions.

1 ReplyYeah the range on that thing is ridiculous right now. Get one-shotted from 15-20 ft with that regularly.

2 RepliesI loved the Fusion Rifle in the beta. I was one of the few to use it. But I think they increased the range of it since then.
