Why is there no cooperative multiplayer matchmaking?
As someone with limited time to play the game, why would you remove the ability for people to easily and quickly find people to play with?
Do you really think I want to spend the time posting on another website or wandering around aimlessly in the hopes of finding a random person?
Guess what? Not all friends are online at the same time!
I regret my purchase and hope the game fails, unless this issue is corrected. Not sure who made this decision, but it was really, really ignorant.

4 RepliesOkay not to be a douche but name off the top of your head 5 games that aren't within the halo series or MMO's that offered random matchmaking for campaign and or any other relative PvE match made game types. That didn't require an enemy team comprised of enemy players or a survival type game mode where you kill waves of enemies.

You should be able to set your group type to open, this will matchmake you for story missions with other that have it set to open. I forgot where exactly the option is.

You had enough time to come make a post. Also there is MM for strikes. The only thing where you absolutely need to find your own people is for raids. Maybe do some research before you bitch like an ignorant child.

There is kind of some co-op match making, strikes for example match you with other players to play cooperatively plus there is a strike playlist that you unlock.

Because you are only meant to ever interact with your real life friends in this game. Because anyone who you dont know intimately in real life is an obscenity spewing 12 year old, by default. Sucks to be you if your real life friends dont play video games, or play games on a different system. Welcome to non-social social gaming.

You must have missed the mission where they introduced the co op matchmaking. It's the one where you first go to the tower and see all the other players walking around, ready to be invited.

3 RepliesIgnorant? Really??!? Coming from the person that expects Bungie to find you people to play with? First, PS4 requires Plus account to matchmake, just making sure you know that, second, if you're so socially anxious, even in a video game, you're screwed, I played first 2 hours and got 2 people to join my fire team, you're in the same area, killing the same things, walk up and invite them to your fire team, viola!! Not hard, do it in the Tower first if you want... Learn to think for yourself and quit expecting everything handed to you on a platter. You're like one of those people that is surprised the government is corrupt... Also, your comment on how this game should fail because you can't find a friend is what made me decide to post on your forum here, pretty lame dude and I say this as a brother trying to help, not in ridicule

You are the exact reason why matchmaking isn't in destiny. If you want matchmaking cod comes out soon.

Do you feel that you have ANY responsibility here other than to SHOW UP...and *demand* to be enterained? I work 60+ hours a week, so I "get" having limited play time. But where do you get the notion that its Bungie's responsibility to FIND you someone to play with????
