Collectors edition ghost shell, emblem, and ship do not transfer between console generations..... Confirmed sadly enough.
I understand that a season pass doesn't transfer, but come one! Gamestop canceled dozens of PS4 ghost editions and gave the players PS3 ghost edition with a free copy of the PS4 standard version saying that our Collector Edition Digital content would transfer with our account!!!
This sucks! I entered my PS3 Ghost edition codes in my PS3, equipped them, and signed into my PS4 to see everything grayed out saying "Requires Collectors Edition"!!! How the hell is it even on my account if I didn't type in the Collectors code and retrieve them from the post master?!?! I hope there's a possible patch for this....

1 ReplyI'm really concerned about this. I bought Limited Edition for my PS3, then later decided to get the Destiny PS4 bundle. Now I'm sitting here with my PS3 LE codes in one hand, and my PS4 in the other.. I'm not sure what to do. Can I use the PS3 codes on the PS4 without ever redeeming them on the PS3??

2 RepliesThere's a download for those items in the PS4 store. It was free for me, but I bought digital guardian, maybe it will be a free download for you too since everything digital purchased on PS3 is supposed to transfer to PS4 for free. I'd check the store for it. Also might need to restore licenses in the PSN settings if you can download it but don't have access after.

1 ReplyI had the exact same problem. I don't see why if you pay for the content, why it's a problem to transfer between console families. Even the season passes. Hopefully Bungie does something about this.
