I just called my IT department. They said that the port that Bungie runs it through is one/similar to the ones that services like BitTorrents and those websites run their services through. Therefore, it has to be blocked. Really frustrating as they had to have known bout it. This sort of problem is ALL OVER Reddit as well.

I was curious if anyone from here contacted them and this is what I assumed would be the response. This is severely frstrating, especially since they won't even comment on it.

Yeah I called about an hour ago. They said they've gotten a few calls all day, and that there is absolutely no way they can unblock it without allowing people to download torrents. So pretty much, unless bungie decides they're going to send it through different ports, they lost a customer. Glad I didn't buy the pass

Yeah, it's getting to the point where a refund or some reimbursement isn't just a demand, but absolutely necessary even if they do finally get it up and running.
