Error code wasp, please help
I can't install this game for the life of me. I've been trying for about 10 hours now. When it opens the in-game downloading screen, the transferring game content meter is at 98% and the update meter jumps to 25% instantly and then the [b]wasp[/b] error pops up. I've reinstalled the disc maybe 6 times now. I also occasionally receive a [b]turtle[/b] error just before the download screen. I am on the Xbox One. I have the red sparrow, vanguard armoury, and blacksmith armour shader installed (should I uninstall these too?). I am beyond frustrated.

It was like this for me, and someone posted an idea I tried and it worked! Try unplugging the power to your wifi dlink and reset your internet DSL or what ever using a tac, wait for 5 minutes and power your wifi back on and it should work.

1 Replysame problem here, tried 4 times last night before giving up. Each time the install got to 98% and the last time it said 100%, but still gave me the wasp error. Any official word Bungie???

1 ReplyIm getting the Turtle error code on the full game, posted a form like 7 hours ago and no one replayed , getting sick of this Im on Xbox One, I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, have hooked my Xbox to both wireless and connected connection and I keep getting the turtle error I searched my xboxs system for an update and no are available Has anyone found a way to fix this ? If it helps my internet connection is Bt its a home connection and in Ireland

[b]I managed to get past it. [/b]I'm not sure if this is the reason, but this is how I fixed it: I went to a friend's house and installed it, opened the in-game downloading screen, and kept retrying (not reinstall just press A to play again) to finish the update before the wasp error opened. Once the update finished before I got the error, I was free to wait for the install to finish up (which does take a while). The reason I went to a friend's house was because I have[b]the worst[/b] internet (1mb/s on a good day) and the update couldn't finish before the wasp swarm ensued.

2 RepliesI had this problem how I fixed it. Not kidding. I deleted the game from hard drive. i hard reset the xbox. Then I took the disc out and put it back in. It started an auto install and made me do a update. It started installing normally. Hope that helps.

To me it's looking like the game is cutting short during the update download screen.
