I'm also online at a university in Ohio. Same exact problems as you. I'm not the most technically savvy but I'm seeing a VPN is a solution but requires a monthly and USB-Ethernet adapter that I dont own. Another $20-40 plus an added monthly fee is not something this college student can handle for one video game.

I can't really afford a monthly fee either. We payed enough for the game, we pay for a subscription to Xbox live, there is no reason why we should have to pay for another gadget only for one game.

Really? That's pretty ridiculous. I have a monthly paycheck that I could use to pay for it, but that is still off the table. I payed enough for the game, I pay yearly for Xbox live, we shouldn't have to go out and buy more devices just to play one game.

I'm very afraid that we are a minority as college campus gamers and that Bungie will leave this issue untouched. Hell I'm not even sure what they can do. I don't even know what they are doing NOW that won't allow us to play compared to Madden which I've been playing online quite fine since launch 2 weeks ago.

I hear you. I really just don't get it. We're consumers and we still payed for a product that we should have full access to. I hope out claims don't fall on deaf ears.
