I am at a University in Ohio, I am having the exact same problem. It wont let me even open up the game. I simply get passed the bungie logo and then it tells me to press "X" (PS4) and it tries to connect to the server and nothing... Just the error code pops up and I cant play. I cant do anything....! I did not drop $100 for nothing!!! Plus it was a digital download and there are no returns aloud? I feel scammed right now!

Don't feel scared, they will fix it. They won't abandon an entire group of people (university living costumers). It's simply unheard of. They will fix it, thing is... how soon? When will the support come? Why? Well. We bought it and they got FLOODED. Just swamped and I don't think their servers could handle it on top of specific connectivity issues. But... keep hope alive haha
