I'm at a university on Xbox One with the same problem. In some of Bungie's information they say it's the NAT type that's probably causing the issue, but my connection is showing up as Open Type (which is the preferred type) but it still isn't working. And I've never had any problems playing games at my university before. I'm sure Bungie employees are super busy right now but I really hope they work on resolving this issue soon.

I really appreciate your positive attitude lol, especially considering that I just started trying to play and you've definitely been having a problem longer than I have. It's mostly tough just because it feels like we've already been waiting a really long time for this game, but I'm still excited to play even if I have to wait 12 hours or something. Even if it takes longer than that, if Bungie is trying their best I can be okay with it.
