First play and golden chests!
Guardians,
I was deployed on my first patrol of Old Russia at 00.00hrs last night (this morning?). My initial report is that, Destiny is still frickin awesome.
Of note, the golden chests from the beta are still in the game. For those that don't know, there are 5 golden chest on the Earth map. Out of the five pieces of loot you obtain by finding them, two are actually decent. A good pulse rifle and a faster Sparrow bike with a dodge ability. If there are those of you who don't know where the chests are, let me know and I can set up a gaming session where people can drop in/out and I'll take them on a tour.
I'll be online this evening and probably throughout the rest of the week, so just let me know below.

1 ReplyAre the golden chests lvl specific, so if i open them a later lvl will i get better loot?

Further update: Started the moon missions last night. It looks like there are five gold chests there as well. His will probably be a feature for all the major locations.

I'll be on this evening but probably just try to get to grips with a few missions. I'll be back on Wednesday and Friday evening and most of the weekend so as soon as I get to an appropriate level I'll give you a shout. Roll on 6pm!!!!

1 ReplyI'll be on late this evening, will no doubt take me a couple of hours to get my bearings. I should be on again tomorrow night where I will definitely be looking to team up and enjoying the game as it should be played. Any tips or advice for those of us who are playing Destiny for the first time? No motivation to work today! It's going to be a slow one!

Will probably play through the first few missions and get to grips with the game tonight, but would be interested in a little tour later this week. I am off work on Thursday so will likely be on all day then. Late on Wednesday too.
