Amazon Package has left carrier facility?

So Destiny requires a hard drive, so I ordered mine, and I decided to track it, and it said "Amazon package has left carrier facility". What does that mean?

I think with Amazon you sometimes have to specify same day delivery.

I think that means that the package left the warehouse, and for me it says it will arrive on the 11th which would completely defeat the purpose of preordering
