Digital Guardian Edition code not activated
I pre-ordered my digital Guardian edition from Gamestop and it printed off my PSN download code. I went to redeem code and the PSN Store gives me the following message "The code you entered my not be correct or may no longer be valid. please check your entries". I called Sony and they said the developers of the game haven't activated all the codes. So I contacted Activision and they referred me here. So please can someone from Bungie Help! I just want to download my game so I can become Legend.

2 RepliesLooks like I am in the same boat as you guys, they said they could start selling them at 6 and I just picked up my code and am getting the same error, I was hoping to start downloading the game before the launch....

GameStop is just selling you currency to purchase something off PSN or xbox live. If you're going digital, it's best to buy directly on your console or the website of your console if choice. Nevertheless, what people are finding is all their download codes for things like the game, emblems, ghost skins, etc. will not be valid until the game is officially launched in your area. For America that means midnight PDT for digital downloads. Hope this helps.

16 RepliesI know me and you already talked about this on my thread, but I just want bungie to know that I am in the same boat. These codes are NOT approved for pre-loading. These codes are NOT even activated ( I did the same thing for Watch-Dogs through Ganestop however, I was able to use the code pre-release and still got the game unlocked... Just had to wait to download.) This is a huge issue and headache, as none of my preorder incentives are showing up under my gamestop digital locker and waiting in the dark with no answers are making me paranoid as to whether or not a just paid 60 for a bunk and possibly never activated code.

Gamestop is famous for these shenanigans. Call the idiot manager and get a new code. If that does not work call the corporate office.

Exact same thing is happening to me, Gamestop store rep says that the codes won't be valid until midnight which makes them utterly pointless.
