Right and wrong, some of those vendors were leaders of factions. Top ranked members of an organization dont usually exist to sell you things and generally have a better story attached. When have you seen bill gates trying to sell his wares? Or some other CEO do something similar? Never. It doesn't hapoen. They may be robots but they're not the same ones that can be seen sweeping the floor around the tower. They are leaders and representatives, so I expect them to act as such.

So true.Vapid vendors are acceptable if they add little to the storyline. Leaders/main NPCs who are vapid and sell wares is just sad. This also reaffirms my conviction. This game should have begun in the last city. Jumping players to the tower was like skipping to end game content. They get there and immediately meet presidential shopkeepers?!?! Ehh I could go on but the game releases in roughly 13hrs. I'll give Bungie a chance to prove the games overall vapidness was a symptom of the beta. Hasta mañana fellow guardians.
