What is the Unique ID for?
In everyone's profile they are equip with a Unique ID, now you have the option to alter this ID that I assume that everyone if given a random default one to begin with. My question is for what purpose do these serve us?

2 RepliesBecause people often want to use their PSN or Live name as their screen name. Since there is a chance that two people could have the same name on different systems, bungie assigning a unique ID number instead will allow multiple people with the same "display" name. your are truly identified by the unique id.
