Number of players per map?
Been enjoying the forums and forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere... but I imagine Bungie will limit maps to X number of players so we're not interfering with each other's quests. Anybody have an idea?

Thanks folks. Been passing time with a free scifi fps game on xbl and had someone do a speed run in front of me sniping all the good loot. Just hoping I don't run into this in Destiny. Really psyched...waaay too old to be taking a week off work to play video games :-) Two days and counting.

I believe it's 16 players per server but not such what is located on a server.

Pve appears to be 16 per instance, ie one large open area. Once you leave that area and enter another, the game loads you into another instance, which can hold a new set of 16 players and so on. Rumor is that 6 player parties can stick together in everything but strikes, which is only 3 players.

I am pretty sure there is up to 16 in a PvE map but I am not positive. I am basing this off the face that the most you can have in the tower is 16 at one time.

6v6 is the largest.
