Not if the DLC shipped on the disc and just hidden behind a paywall. Sadly, look for Destiny to really take advantage of gamers and not in a good way.

  • You're forgetting three things: 1 - rising cost of development - games have become vastly more expensive to create over the course of the past decade 2 - inflation - the value of the US dollar has dropped harshly as well, also in the past ten years 3 - Games have been $59.99 for the entire time. Costs go up, revenue value goes down, and the consumer cost stays the same? Sounds like the perfect storm for anyone trying to keep their employees in the office. As such, I'm perfectly fine with post-launch DLC for any game honestly. The gaming industry is a business, if it doesn't turn a profit, it will die. I support my favorite developers and I support the industry.

  • Thanks for reply, I am also dissapointed in this method, but i'll be playing the game anyway.

  • Yep same here. This is one of the two reasons just renting Destiny now. I hate being price gouged and paying to unlock anything that shipped on any game disc. And the PvP was very bad and felt tacked on. Very disappointed.
