This post was then taken down because it violated the Code of Conduct. You are wondering why Bungie would do this, and you think they are covering it up to help Primeguard. Now I will attempt to answer your question: The post was removed because it violated the Code of Conduct. The act of telling someone to commit suicide is a "personal attack", and is a violation of the Code of Conduct, especially since it involved a Bungie-based service. Even if it was only a screenshot, it's still a violation. It would be no different if someone posted a picture promoting racism, rather than simply gratuitously using racial slurs. Bungie is not "censoring" to "protect" Primeguard. First of all, Bungie is in no way affiliated with Primeguard. Primeguard is a purely community-created group. The Primeguard moderators have no connection with Bungie. Also, it was a Bungie moderator's decision to remove the post, not Bungie's. personally i hadn't heard of them until news about the insult thing happened, also can't say i care, joining clans especially those who are at a world level, i can only imagine it being a harsh and intolerable place, I#m here for fun and of course some competitive action (i played 10,000 games on halo 2 over the course of more than 3 years) i look forward to joining people on the ps4 and hope i never have to play against prime guard pre made groups ;)
