I'll be getting the collector's edition, what about you guys?
EDIT: Sorry guys but I got the names wrong. There is no collectors edition, it's just called limited edition. I read wrong in an email that said collector's limited edition.
So...
Collector's= Limited
Limited= normal
Vote away!
Sorry again.

Edited by NeoMorph WTH: 9/7/2014 1:15:53 PMProblem with the Strategy Guide is that it will already be out of date. There have been a bunch of changes since the beta finished (just look how the subclasses have changed around in fact) and stats for the weapons have changed. This is the problem with printed strategy guides. At least with a Wiki it can be updated pretty darn quickly. The only strategy guides I have EVER bought were the first ever Forza and the other one was for the Witcher II because I was getting confused with the two swords and weapon stats in general.

I got the Collector's guide mostly for the lithographs. I'll probably flip through it when a) I'm not able to play Destiny and b) when I hit 20 and want to check the guide for end-game tips.
-
I got the collectors strategy guid from GameStop online store for $39 I get it shipped to me the day after
-
No. Don't want to toot my own horn but I am awesome at destiny. Don't need a guide to tell me push rb and lb to use my super lol
-
3 RepliesNope. Because i'm a pro gamer. And that's IMPO (In My Personal Opinion) cheating. Say what you will of me. I am a Guardian

Meh, I don't need strategy guides.
-
2 RepliesThere is actually a ghost edition and a limited edition and there's also a digital guardian edition THEN there's the standard edition
-
Collecters, I want to get all da destiny loot!
-
Collector's. I wanted something to read while the servers burn on launch day ;)
-
I generally only get strategy guides for massive games with lots of choices. The last 2 I bought were Skyrim and Dragon Age: Origins.
-
Already preordered the normal one.
-
Maybe.
-
No for right now. If I happen to see it for like .99 then I might pick it up at best buy.
-
1 ReplyI usually like to pick up guide books because my mom and cousin were great at drawing the art in them, but I can't remember the last game I got one for.. I think it must've been pokemon saphire..
-
2 RepliesI'll probably get it just because I'm a collector but I have a feeling that some of the information may change and become outdated as the game gets tweaked over the years to come.
-
1 ReplyYeah, I've bought one from Amazon UK, since it's Destiny, you know... I must have it. :D I find that Wikia and walkthrough made by other gamers are much more useful than those strategy guides, but despite this I've bought the Assassin's Creed ones (mostly for the artwork inside and the story recap and lore), Skyrim and a few others.

Valid point on I don't want to spoil anything, but immersion in pooping...
-
1 ReplyThey sell it at Game Stop?
-
1 ReplyI hope someone uploads pics of all the ghost locations in the guide. Same with chests.
