Really depends on the person, most "Gamers" I know do speak/write passable english, with exceptions of course.. But yeah the level of education in Germany viaries greatly and there is actually a shockingly huge amount of us that speaks/writes hardly any english. The synchronisation of foreign shows definitely plays a role in keeping it that way. I myself hardly watch regular TV and play/read/watch everything in English (with the exception of stuff thats originally released in German) and so do most of my friends and I most certainly hope that my english is on ahigh enough level for any discussion that could come up in this forum :D ;)
