If youre concerned about lifeless, go talk bad about Skyrim.
Boring and lifeless and shitty as hell. At least the FPS action keeps this game entertaining.

Skyrim is far from lifeless. With random events happening all the time, flora and fauna attacking, a dynamic world with battles raging for reasons you may never know isn't lifeless. Sure it is far from perfect but it is a game you love for its faults, it is up to the player to make their own fun in the world and for the most part I think people do that just fine. It is overall an amazing attempt at creating a fantasy world for people to explore and interact with. As for Destiny I'm not talking bad. I'm giving constructive feedback and I wont explain the difference between the two. With your comment about
At least the FPS action keeps this game entertaining
, I completely disagree. In the beta the enemies were completely boring, repetitive and stupid all the time, every-time for the reasons I have stated above. If you seriously have a conflicting view on this actually state why and what led you to believe it. Give an argument, not a statement.

Edited by ShizRizGrizDiz: 9/4/2014 6:51:05 AMYou only faced Two of the Four races. And if you think theyre boring, you obviously havent been watching the trailers. Later on the enemies have complete different attack patterns hell, they even had an enemy with a gatling! And yes, Skyrim was lifeless as hell. Hardly any enemies for such an open world game. All the dungeons felt the same. The gameplay was boring and slow. The quests didnt feel rewarding, nonetheless you had to walk everywhere and talk to everyone just to try and get a quest. The skills felt pointless. The leveling felt pointless. The enemies had completely boring mechanics as opposed to Destinys enemies. At least Destinys enemies gave me the run for. The verticality gameplay to Destiny is what makes it even funner, a hell lot more than Skyrim. A lot of Skyrims story felt shit. 'Oh Alduin returns. Oh and apparently Dragonborn does too.' It was always that, oh bad thing happens, but good always prevail. The DLCs were shit waste for 15 bucks. Honestly, Skyrim felt small. I dont see how anyone finds it fun. I dont care if its one large map. There wasnt enough stuff to do to keep it entertaining, and when i say stuff to do i mean that felt rewarding or worthwhile doing. In other words., it was like Minecraft, just big open world with really nothing fulfilling to do. And Destiny has random events too. And last i checked, there were parts where Fallen and Hive battled each other. And at least Destiny has a co-op experience unlike a single player game. And with Destiny being all online, they will always be adding new content. Overall, this game will have more to do than Skyrim and be bigger too.

So does this game still have more to do than Skyrim? I'm curious.

I left the above there for you. Skyrim is epic.
You only faced Two of the Four races
. This is incorrect if you did not explore you would not have encountered many other races which makes it your fault, not the games. They had orc encampments, drow islands (DLC), dwarven ruins filled with machines and falmer, the thalmor and the many different bandits from each race, not to mention vampires werewolves and the like which you can kill. Hardly any enemies? there was always enemies if you wanted the reward behind them all you had to do was look. The quests were a guide and forgive the game for not holding your hand through the entire thing, the skills were necessary if you wanted to be great and they gave you nice bonuses and even if you didn't like them the leveling system was revolutionary regardless. Sure the combat wasn't the pinnacle of creation. But it did its job well enough to not stop people from enjoying the game. If the enemies in the Destiny beta gave you a run for you aren't very skilled. The fact you could jump was a winner for you? really? jumping and shooting did it for you? (Verticallity gameplay does make it sound so much better). But I will take riding dragons around Skyrim as my slice of "Verticallity Gameplay" anytime. You had an issue with the story? you do realize that if you trade Alduin and Dragonborn for Darkness and Guardian you literally have the same story for Destiny right? Destiny even goes so far as to bring you back from the dead to make you come back. The have the power to resurrect people and they cant bring back enough people to fight with? it breaks the story. Skyrim also gives you the option of being evil in all its content, if you want Alduin to win fine. Just wonder around because as soon as you turn of the game you have experienced what content there is when you don't have a world to play in. As for Destiny do you remember how they showed your friends dropping in from the sky directly into your game in the trailers? Where was that in the game hmmm? Where? I reviewed the beta not the trailers out of common sense. Sure it will change but you cannot make any claims about the final until it is in our hands so don't try to point to the trailers and say that the enemies are amazing, because trailers are made to look better than the product. Aliens colonial marines are the perfect example of this. Nice troll though.

Edited by ShizRizGrizDiz: 9/4/2014 9:17:58 AMTwo of Four races was about Destiny, not Skyrim. And i am very skilled, what was meant was that they were actually challenging. Unlike Skyrims enemies. And the leveling was not revolutionary. I could sit there and raise just block a die from Giants and use just that to reach level oh idk, 1000. Or stand in water and use waterbreathing to level alteration. Or just get hit and heal to level Heavy/Light armor and Restoration. The leveling was lame. A lot of the skills were worthless. And you riding dragons is hardly anything for you cant even do anything while on them. And yes, while exploring the world there was hardly anything to ever kill and raise skills. The enemies were all too weak and very boring. Just admit it, Skyrim has a very slow paced game thats boring. And if youre going to compare Aliens Colonial Marines to Bungies trailers, youre sad. From the very start you should know that it was bad. Bungie is a well known developer for not lying. Besides, the beta and alpha were originally coded back in early 2013. We played the 2013 beta version form. The dropping in from spaceship could have been implemented later. So you have no room to judge until the game is out. Another gay thing with Skyrim. You could stand there right in front of enemies, and youre invisible. Okay. I dont care how high sneak is, thats so unrealistic. The gameplay was bland. There was nothing rewarding in the game. You could be level 10 with Daedric armor. The fact you could be any level and wear the best armor made it feel so lame. The game offered no challenge, unless you turned up difficulty but thats just DMG modifiers, still no actual challenge. If i can beat the story at level 14, that just shows the lameness to it. But, the main thing was nothing felt rewarding in the game. If i want to play an RPG that actually has levels that matter with a sense of rewardness, id go play Dragon Age, or Diablo 3. Or Borderlands. At least with Destiny, they change the enemies mechanics based on difficulty. Ex: Raid On Hard mode the enemies are tougher, have different mechanics, etc. Hell, the only thing with maybe 10 minutes was killing dragons but they even hardly respawned. Overall there was no sense of accomplishment. Whats the point of all these levels if i can just boost one or two infinitely easily to reach level 1000? All the voices were the same. There was no distinctness between anyone. The different races were meaningless. At least with Destiny you have Three classes that change gameplay completely. This is how most RPGs and MMOs strive. The different classes for different gameplay. Sure youre running through the same thing, but in a different style. Skyrim did not offer this with just different races. And you could be a warrior/mage/rogue all in one so really, just play once and thats it. Neither of those really offered any extra feel to that particular aspect. The use of weapons felt lame, the use of magic felt lame. The sneaking was just stupid, and again, slow paced gaming. You never really fought multiple enemies at a time that offered a challenge. So really, i dont see how you or anyone else finds it fun. Im sorry, but when youve gamed as much as i have and played a bunch of RPGs and a few MMOs here and there, youll see Skyrim as a last choice of gaming, if a choice at all. Skyrim was not immersive enough and id rather my time with something more so.

Nah I'm good. I'll just stick with the rest of the world in enjoying a great game and let haters hate.
