I'm not sure if this will be fixed in the full game release but to those of you who didn't get the chance to play the beta there was absolutely no voice communication in the beta at all unless you were in a Fireteam with your friends. I realize bungie did this so that other can't ruin ones game experience due to mix slamming or just being an overall jerk, but if you ask me it was a terrible idea and ruins MY over all game experience as well as many others I'm sure. I would like to meet people in the community of destiny and it makes it hard to do that if I can never talk to anyone. I can especially see this being a problem with the end game content such as raids where you can only do it with your friends which is a gold idea might I add. Luckily I already have a few friends to run them with but let's say I bought an xbox just for destiny which I'm sure there are quite a few people that will. How am I supposed to meet 6 people in a game(that I can't talk in by the way) and get them altogether for the best part of the game it takes out a huge social experience if you ask me. I can see this being a bigger issue than the one they're trying to address. Please comment your opinions as I would like to see who agrees with me and who doesn't.

Then, the players that agree with you debate what kind of comm. should be added. Proxy, I like it. It would be great to tell players near me I found something neat, or ask for help with a public event. It will work for finding parties, but you will not have many players to choose from. 16 in your world? More I believe, but not many. Text, I really like. If you had a clan channel? You could send a text to your entire clan that are online. Same with friends, if we get a in game friend list. It can be used for areas, small for the people near you, large for areas like old Russia. Think of it as a shout. You see a public event starting. You are alone. Type out a please help! Send it out. Then hope you get help. Hehehe. Emotes, they will work. We will need many of these. There is a time and place for all of these. They are all needed. I would also like a party finder in the game. We can post our needs and wants. It can be seen by everyone online with you. They can join your group. These forums are great for debating the gameplay, passing on info, and in some cases making friends. It's not the game. It's not in the game. When I log on, I want the tools to play the game. As it is now, it lacks. Good hunting, good luck.
