In a supposedly social game, I find it odd that you can't chat with strangers or even have the option to. Infact, if you're going into this game with zero friends then everyone else might as well be no more than bots. In PvP I can't hear or talk to my teammates? Or if I decide to do a strike with strangers I can't talk to them unless I leave orbit and come back? That's bad. I've made some great friends online, and I've met some complete dicks online too. But the good friends I've made makes up for the few times I've ran into unfriendly people. There needs to be [i]something[/i] that allows us to talk to people around us. There should be an opt in button that allows you to hear others. Spamming invites does not fix the solution especially when it becomes awkward in having to kick them for being annoying. I want to see how they are first, then invite them to my party chat. Not having public chat will hurt this game in the long run. If you take away people's ability to speak freely, they will leave.
