I don't want to burst your bubble, but you can't mix and match weapon attachments, at least not in the beta. Instead you got weapon parts, which could be used to unlock certain attachments. So instead if taking the sight off one gun and putting it on another, you're scrapping the sight and using the materials to unlock new stuff.
