Just curious.
I've kind of been in the dark on the media hype for this game (despite Activision's terrible efforts to make me care) and I've heard some vague notion that the PS4 version of Destiny get some little hats or something a day or two before the Xbox One version... but other than that they're the same. But people are getting butthurt over this?
Please educate me.

12 Replies1. Timed exclusives (probably until Fall of 2015) on PS4. 2. Release exclusives: One Rare-level set of armor for each class. One Unique ship for each character class. Two Exotic level weapons: Monte Carlo auto-rifle; Hawkmoon hand cannon. One Multi-player map (Exodus Blue). One Strike Mission (The Dust Palace). 3. The Dark Below (expansion pack) Exclusives: TBA....but Bungie has confirmed that they will PS4 only until Fall 2015. I have both consoles...and the exclusives were enough to convince me to choose the PS4 as the platform I would primarily play Destiny on. The gear is no big deal---if not these---then XB1 players will find something else they like just as much. But the extra map and extra strike mission is a pretty big exclusive imo. Other than this---and the differences in game pad controllers between the two consoles----the version look and PLAY the same.

One comes in a green box and one comes in a blue box. Oh, and apparently the blue box version has some extra stuff in it.

2 RepliesThe armour that we are getting is supposed to be legendary and the two weapons are exotic! Whether this will piss Xbox players off even more or not I don't know but that's the way things are!

PS just gets some timed exclusives and some neat starter gear. Those "people" you are referring to aren't people cx

Playstation gets 3 armour sets, 1 strike, 1crucible map, and 2 exotic weapons. Xbox will get these in 1 year as well.

9 RepliesEdited by aelius: 9/1/2014 5:33:08 PMOh my god. will everyone please remember that Microsoft used to have private stocks in Bungie before they pulled out, and then playstation gave them a deal for their "new, upcoming game not part of the halo series?" If I were Bungie, I would choose money over going with the company that ditched me just because a couple ignorant XBOX players were misinformed.

I get- Strike, Crucible Map, Vanguard Armory with weapons and armors, Red Sparrow (Not really a PS exclusive, just braggin')... Also getting expansion pass soon.. Soon..

3 RepliesEdited by Frank Woods: 9/1/2014 4:45:11 PMPS4 gets exclusive content yes but it's not "hats". It's armor, weapons, multiplayer maps and even an exclusive strike mission. Xbox doesn't get this content until Fall 2015. I personally think it's a little overboard by bungie, especially since xbox has been bungie's main fanbase for the longest time.

As time increases, the differences between the versions tends toward zero.

Ps4 gets exclusive content each expansion/ plus the main title. Am extra strike, weapons, armors,mp map. Each expansion ps4 will get exclusives. Xbone will probably get them all in 1 big dl next year.

11 RepliesEdited by Scurred: 9/1/2014 5:05:32 PMPS gets a strike, a couple guns, some armor, and a crucible map or two. They get a few timed exclusives every expansion I believe. Xbox doesn't get these until a year from release.
