how you discovered destiny.
we are all here. connected together for anticipation of Destiny.
I ask now fell ow guardians. How did you discover destiny?
I discovered it in a gameinformer magazine. It grabbed my attention and I saw potential.
Just a couple of photos and an article. I tend not to get excited over game informer because most of this stuff does not make it or I don't hear of it again but later I did. I saw another article. Then over the summer I was told if I preorder I could try it free.

I actually can't remember when I first heard about Destiny.

My cousin told me to download it just for fun because we were bored and had nothing else to play and saw the beta was free! And that's when I fell in love with my favorite game in the universe... Destiny!

I was sad after reach so i went online and searched for bungies next project. Found some early concept art.

When I went to reserve my copy of gears of war judgement, which sucked btw. GameStop thee in a poster. I opened it up and saw the logo the traveler and the title. No idea what I was looking at them on the bottom right I saw it, "bungie". Holy Vagina!!!! This was back in December of 2012.

1 ReplyWell it depends on what you consider, "discovered". The first ever mention of the game with its Title and everything didn't happen till about 2 or so years back. However they have been teasing the game since forever. I remember seeing an article pointing out that Bungie employees were wearing T shirts with the now known Destiny logo. I have been interested in the game since that moment.

When it came up on xbox dashboard, was very exighted Ive been waiting for destiny since halo 3. Immediately put up money for a pre order then later on ghost edition.

I'm the kind of guy that used to goto EBgames so much they got sick to death of me. Well one day the boss said if I preorder Destiny for $10 I could play The Beta. Being to person who will play anything I did just that! After using the Beta code I got a refund of the pre order as I needed the money. I played the Beta 15 hours per day for the full week. I can remember going to sleep with my controler next to my head. Destiny is my second home. Can't wait to go Starside again.

Having a brand new PS4 at home and no games that -I- wanted to play, I set fourth gazing into the future looking for the next new game that would interest me.. There, amongst the games in the isle was a pre-purchase tag for Destiny. I hopped onto my Tablet and viewed the trailer on YouTube, for what do I see before me? an Epic tale of Science Fiction and Legend. As I stood there browsing the web for more Destiny information I found that it was not going to be released for 10 months. Bummer.. Oh well.. As I place the card back onto the shelf, I realize that THIS. THIS was the game I would look forward to..

My friend told me about it early 2013, I said it looked stupid and was just a copy of Halo. But then I saw the 2013 E3 trailer and nearly crapped my pants...proceeded in preordering the game the second the presentation was over. Been waiting for this week ever since. The marathon is almost over fellow guardians. Your time to shine is near. Yes, YOUR TIME! This game is for you fellow gamer, weather you be Xbox or Playstation. We will become legend.
