How did people download it already?

I bought it on the Xbox store and downloaded it so I'm ready to go when it goes live. Check your systems store.

I don't know how people are downloading this game already but PS4 preload starts 9/7 so.....

Edited by o0 DaGnOmE 0o: 8/31/2014 11:55:59 PMXbox has made destiny available for pre-loading via buying the regular or the digital guardian edition in the microsoft store. 18GB is a compressed file of the game, aka when it launches that 18gb will be enough to let you play as it finishes installing.

Xbox live store has a preorder digital edition that allows you to download, but not play the game. At least, that's what I'm guessing they're talking about.
