All symbols in Halo.
After some interest I've decided to make this thread about all symbols that appear in Halo in hope of finding a link between them all.
Was playing through campaign and noticed this symbol on the Ark during the first clip. Any idea if it represents something? It's at the bottom near the ship.

I personally think that symbols or what not relating to Marathon are more like easter eggs rather than part of the Halo story. Like a sort of tribute to the old days of Bungie.

Thanks guys. Feel free to post any symbol you may come across no matter how insignificant they may seem. Bungie are very good at little things like this and I for one want to get to the bottom of it.

Well it must mean something. Like that Flood Containment area in the States that looks a lot like Adjutant Reflex's avatar.

Can actually see a couple symbols on the end planet but I don't think any are the one in the Control Room.

Well we do know that Bungie like using little symbols everywhere but I think we also know that they tend to have a lot of hidden meaning. The more symbols we find the greater the mystery behind them, but also closer to making sense. Here's one from the Control Room at the top of the holographic Halo ring. Unlike the first Halo hologram in Halo:CE, this one is stationary at the top instead of following the rotating ring around. I really don't think it means much of anything. Bungie seems to have a good run of interesting little symbols they use and reuse. I don't think anyone will find anything of value from them. Just enjoy them as cool little additions as I'm sure Bungie intended.

It might be a bit different but the one on the Ark is a little hard to tell due to half of it being in the water.
