Question for Bungie about PSN pre order.
I pre ordered my game from the PlayStation network and am wondering if I have to wait until 2am CST to play the game on 9/9. I know you have stated that the servers will be live once it is 9/9 somewhere in the world and I think that since I am pre loading the game I should be able to play as soon as the servers are online. Can you please respond to this topic as a lot of use gamers that have pre ordered the game with PSN are confused. Thank you in advance for responding to my question.

Any digital download be in PSN or apparently newly released Xbox Live members will all need to wait until 03:00AM (12:00PDT) to have access to the game regardless of having it preloaded on the 7th. One conversation I read that someone had with a PSN customer support employee even said that it was Bungie's doing (lol)

From what I know, all time zones are based out of gmt. (London time). So i assume that the servers will be up at 6pm central standard time on 9-8-14

2 RepliesI've seen in a few other threads where people posted conversations with playstation support that stated we will have to wait until 12 am pdt. I'll have to wait until 2 am cst as well. Which was the same situation with Diablo 3. The servers are opening when it hits 9/9 on the international date line. It's the retailers that will be controlling when you get to play.
