Keep up the Destiny video's it seems to be something that really suits you. Now I'll start where you started, The Vex - The Vex seem to be the least known, the cabal are a tad more known about then The Vex. I theorized 1 possiblity. The Vex are basically Exo's & let's say during the attack by the Darkness The Exo's had a civil war over organic life. On 1 side was The Exo's, who wanted to befriend/work with humanity & the other The Vex, believed things like they were slaves or like Shodan & simply thought they were superior. They were pushed back with The Darkness but here's where Bungie pulls inspiration from The Terminator perhaps. We know the Vex time travel or something. So when The Vex lost they built something to go forward in time to bring chaos to the peace between Exo's & organics in the future/present day Destiny - the world we play in. During the beta I heard the FWC Exo leader mention time & war a lot. The Fallen, can't say much till more lore but I assumed so far they have a judge against Exo's, humans, & Awoken. Perhaps they were a allie once during the fight with the Darkness but they're entire race got hit hard & they ended up blaming everyone else. This would explain why they seem to be on neither side. Cabal: Hardly much known yet just like the Vex. I wonder if they sided with The Fallen or if they sided with The Darkness because they believed they had a better bet serving it. No idea That aside, The Hive I always assumed were like The Flood in Halo, while that is true The Hive is said to be the in direct contact with The Darkness. Not only that but I took the time to side track when I was on The Moon. POSSIBLE SPOILERS I went down into The Pit. What I saw were not exactly a simple zombie race like they originally appeared back on earth. The entire place was extremely intricate & you saw exactly why they are called a Hive. It seemed like it was a "dark hive type castle under-ground" though I couldn't fully explore due to eventual closed doors infact Bungie had jokes set their for people who went too far in looking for something. Though that is another matter so I digress. More importantly I saw they are a higher archey of sorts & knowledgeable. The Hive their were dressed in gold armor or robes typically. 1 part of the place was called "The Halls Of Wisdom" which had a door that looked like the hadron collidor somewhat & 1 area I was met with a closed door but it's area name appeared anyway saying something like "The Summoning Halls" Maybe they are not just building a army but also maybe trying to open a door for The Darkness.
