  • I agree with you that skill is always a factor. But Bungie have all the evidence from the beta. And they said it needed a buff and I agree totally.

  • In PvP, perhaps. But in PvE play, the thing was just about useless. Especially if you ran solo as a player. The small magazine and long reload time left you INCREDIBLY vulnerable in the face of any wave-attacking enemies.

  • Not entirely true. I consider myself pretty damn good in terms of accuracy in all shooters, Bungie specific and not, and it was difficult to compete when using a hand cannon when everyone was usually sporting the fully automatic rifles and just pinning you with lead. You are asking everyone to just man up and use something that takes a whole lotta skill to use as well as the auto rifles allow. This means that even if you are good with the hand cannon you still might as well use the auto rifle because I has more potential to be better with skills than the hand cannon does. You can be great with the hand cannon, I didn't play much multiplayer destiny at all due to work but I like the hand cannon but even if you were amazingly skilled in accuracy you would still switch to the auto rifle or perhaps scout rifle because it can utilize that accuracy skill further. Catch my drift? There's no point in using the hand cannon in multiplayer if it's just for novelty. It should be able to compete with the other weapons at least slightly. Good auto rifle user can kill 3 maybe 4 people with 2 clips. A good hand cannon user can kill 1-2 and usually had to go through a fairly slow reload and be reay to combat the next possible enemy. And you can't give the, " but it only take 3 headshots with the hand cannon to kill so a skilled player can get 2 per clip as well." Because that's bullshit and you know it. That's claiming to be perfect with every shot all the time and that's simply asking to much. Anyway it seems like a small buff that can do a whole lotta good. Don't go jumping to conclusions on terms of claiming who needs skill and who doesn't.

  • I can see where you are coming from but it's my opinion so I'll stand by it >_>
