Recon & flaming hayabusa helms
[b]Bungie staff,[/b]
OK....I've heard alot of stories about these two helms and how to get them but im not sure if many of them are true....first i heard that a guy some how bounced a bullet in a way so it sniped himself through the head and got a recon helm....Now is this true because i was wondering if the bungie staff or anyone can clear this up for me...And if this isnt, than can someone tell me if there is even a possible way to aquire one of these helms without being part of the bungie staff.

And how does bungie know that you did somthing amazing...Meaning do you have to send the "amazing" thing you did directly to them or will they just find you?

Maybe you can get Recon if you create a drivable Scarab out of crates and traffic cones. You would have to do something absolutely amazing.

The flaming hayabusa helmet is not flaming, theres a body plate that makes the helmet have flames. The body plate is only for Bungie staff. The Recon helmet can only be gotten by being a Bungie staff member, or given to a person who has done something for the community (like Digital Ph34r and his videos), or by making Bungie laugh (like the guy who got killed by the traffic cone)

yes that guy did get same with the one who was killed by a pylon and the flaming helmet (it isn't hayabusa) is ONLY for bungie employees

Bungie gives you the Recon if you do something for the community, or if you're a close friend/employee. You get the flaming helmet for being an employee. You can wear the flame with any helmet, it doesn't have to be Hayabusa.

Recon is a special armor given to Bungie employees and those they feel worthy. The flaming helmet is actually the Bungie Body, which looks exactly like the EOD body but puts flames around your head.
