One of the problems is if you say something should be changed, explain why you feel that way and understand not everyone likes the same things, 99% of comments that will follow will still have no real counter argument or point. I like the overall feel of destiny, but everything can be improved. If people just put constructive comments then the community would not be ignored completely as currently, every post with actual feedback and reasoning gets drowned in aggressively diminutive comments that help no one. If the community wanted the game to be the best it can be it would stick to productive feedback...gotta love the internet.

  • They could have meant that Bungie gets tired of the negative nit picking done by so many over petty things. Or, the people that think they know better than the devs that have been in the industry for 20 years. Or, the trolls. Spewing nonsense just to get a rise because they get no attention in their life. I've seen ridiculous posts like: "This new trailer makes me want to cancel my pre-order! They ruined PvP! Now it's the worst game ever!" "This game sucks! The graphics are crap & the story sucks balls" etc. I think Bungie really wants to hear the constructive criticism. There are many very good, well thought out posts with great ideas! Those really help Bungie feel the pulse of the gaming community. Enabling them to give the community a better experience. That's my PERSONAL opinion! We all have the right to express our opinion! I respect the intelligent, relevant posts. The trolls get none! I'm in no way trying to put words into anyone's mouth! Not trying to incite a flame war. Just posting my thoughts!

  • I agree, if no one would put those kind of posts, whatever Is said might have more weight. This sucks is not an argument. If people think the game sucks....they are in the wrong forums and should go talk on the forums of games they are actually going to play...if they like it but think some things could either be improved or are just missing, it's good for the Dev to know the priority of the community, especially since it's a game that is supposed to evolve over time. And for all the "im going to cancel my preorder crowd", if say that because of one small think then it's your loss; if you do it because you don't like the game in general then no amount of adjustments is going to make you like it....find another game there are games for everyone, if not this one. When I writes posts in the feedback section, it's not because I don't like the game, it's because I want to like it for a long time and that's where small improvements can make a difference. Where I disagree is where you say that devs know what they are doing in game design. I have been playing games for 30 years and I have seen to many games crash and burn because of strange design decision in the name of their "vision". When you work in IT you realize most people just wing it and hope for the best, it's when they have a success and start thinking they can do no wrong...that's when they try to make people work (or in this case play games) their way...no matter how little sense it makes.
