how many clans can you join?

8 RepliesYou can be a member of as many clans as you want, but your ACCOUNT can only be a clan mate of ONE. (The caps aren't meant as disrespect, just emphasis :3)

you can join a max of 10 groups , ive tested that myself , and out of those ten only one can be your clan.

3 RepliesAre you able to switch between clans though if use wished to? Say you really like a couple of groups but the clans are on different time zones? Or can only ever be in one clan EVER lol...

You may be in multiple groups but only one clan. The system will not allow you to join more than one. You are tied to your Xbox Live or PSN account, not to your characters for clan purposes. From multiple groups you may find friends to join you in game play, but you won't have any guarantee of ability or success without being a member of a reliable clan that is organized and has invested time in achieving success. This is where the weakness of mega-huge clans lies. You don't know if or when you will be able to join the same players in a campaign any more than you will from a group. Within the confines of a large clan you must enter into agreement to pursue the task at hand the same way as those in a group do. How many "elite" and "best" players do you think there are in a huge clan? Find the groups that are represented and view their forum pages. Learn for yourself if what they present is what you want in your gaming experience. If the group forum presents no information you can be assured the associated clan will be the same. Use the forum as an indicator of the extent of being welcomed into the clan.
