Notice interviewer says motes of light. Bungie employee response is above. Almost like he is semi- correcting the guy. He says you get 30 through light. Don't say motes of light. Now that is straight from Bungie.

See now your reading more into it because if he was correcting him Jonty would have said, No. You get toward 30 through light. He was actually agreeing with him in acknowledgment by saying Yes. Light doesnt just come from the sky, it's not something mysterious that Bungie had been alluding to. Light that you use obviously comes from the motes.

Sigh... that makes no sense. If you are wrong then that would be giving misinformation to people. The only information I gave to people is a link to the article with the devs. Not only that but you as well as many others completely missed the point of this thread by a longshot and started a conversation about what you want. You never answered my only 2 questions at the top of the thread. Motes of light is not the topic.

The information I been given is not wrong. What I could be wrong about is that motes of light will be used to increase light stat on gear. You are stating it as a FACT that motes of light get to level 30 in your original post. And simple this is not confirmed. So if you post something that is unsure, expect people to respond to that.

You use motes of light to buy gear... which has light on it, which raises your level. Its all a means to and end. There was clarification just to point out that there is a difference.

Do you have a link or anything about motes of light to buy light gear. I believe that is one of the purposes of it but I have not seen a confirmation on it. If you could help I would appreciate it.

If you looked at the speakers shop in the beta he was asking for motes of light for the gear.

Yeah I did see that but it was not gear with light on it from what I saw. I only saw class accessories, and they had no stats I could see on them.
