Sooo the level cap is....
Based on a interview with Bungie yesterday. It has been said the level cap is 30. [b]How do yall feel about that? And how long do you think it will take you to reach it?[/b]
Update: I thought it was common knowledge that the soft level cap is 20, I was wrong. So to clarify soft level cap is 20 and a max level of 30.

To all the people bitching that level 20 (29 with full raid gear right now (based on the Titan demo), I think 30 was just a ballpark number) means there is barely going to be any content, quit it. Believe it or not, the amount of times you can level up in a game does not correlate with the amount of content available. Quite frankly, this game won't actually start until you hit level 20.
