Others on this post: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/65349153/0/0, have suggested Bungie add a option to pre-order Split Screen so that they can know upfront that there is demand and that they have an economic incentive to commission work on it. So what do you think, how much would you pay for Split Screen?
-
Split screen is dead because it sucks!
-
i'm sure as hell not gonna pay for split-screen, that's -blam!-ing retarded
-
Quite frankly I hate split screen, it is annoying, you can't see as much, and isn't really necessary I don't know why people are making a big deal about it to be perfectly honest
-
I don't see why so many people actively hate split screen. It's not like it being a feature will instantly make your screen smaller if you play alone, and it won't force you to play with anybody if you're anti-social. To the people who think a FPS RPG can't possibly be split screen because it would ruin the exploration or the experience, take a look at Borderlands. That game is splitscreen and a great FPS RPG. The only valid argument I've seen is how it would slow down the game online by trying to force two people online through one Xbox, but there could be an easy way around this like if you are playing split screen you have to play offline mode or something. The reason why Halo became so popular was because it had split screen. You could see how fun it was then call some friends over and then show them. If they liked it enough, then they would buy there own copy to show play with their other friends. One of the main reasons why I wanted to play this was for a coop experience, but if my friend has to pay for another xbox, the game, and live just to play with me because the creators were too lazy or too greedy to put it in, then I'm not going to support it.
-
its called the 21st century all you have to do is invite your friend to your party and blamoooo hey look your playing with friends
-
notta dime cuz i doesn't needz that crapz
-
spit screen is so horrible. all game make should dump split screen
-
f u c k split screen, 2 tvs with 2 destiny my Guardbros.
-
Might as well ask if we want a time machine since the past is the only place that split screen should exist.
-
I'm not for or against split screen. So I couldn't care less If they added it

Edited by Dean Harvey: 8/31/2014 5:06:41 PMWill pay them not to do this. Devs need to stop giving in to loud cry babies the vast majourity do not go on forums and when some do they ignore the cring posts so these polls will never show what the community really wants.
-
Please leave the early 2000s this is 2014 the age of split screen died and single 61 inch TV led smart TV with surround sound if you need someone to play with you your friend is poor and should get a job
-
Split screen is one of the best parts of gaming, having friends around playing the game while eating and drinking all night is fantastic and gaming doesn't get better than that.. playing with friends over Xbox live/psn with a headset is not a worthy alternative - its great but nothing beats actually playing with them in the same room, so all this "split screen is dead" and "there no need for it any more " are bullshit. its amazing to see how many people don't have friends on this site.
get some real friends
-
I do not care for splitscreen.
-
Edited by Dave---G-: 9/6/2014 12:05:22 PMI'd pay for them to keep split screen out of destiny.
-
While I'm not opposed (except on the point where it takes time away from other aspects), I wouldn't pay for it either.
-
Get over it. Split screen really has died with the advancement of broadband service. Plus did you really like having a small screen cut in half? I didn't.
-
Not 1 cent!
-
Horrible idea, I should get paid for having heard such awfulness
-
I don't want it so would never pay for it. I am not against the game having it however I think it's not needed in a game like this. Being that this is an open world game split screen would be completely pointless. If you want split screen go back and play games where leveling up is not based around an open world.

Plus it would be nice if my gf and I could play together. But alas no harm done.

Just stop with these petty posts that you believe will be the next best petition to change the game. It's already been done made and printed. It's more than just a software update. Just quit please.

Edited by Typo: 9/8/2014 4:06:16 AMWhile I have had many great experiences with split-screen gaming in Halo and the like, I don't feel that Destiny is the type of game that would really benefit from it.

I don't get the sudden fascination with split screen. It's been gone for awhile now and it's not coming back. I take my system and tv over to my buddies house all the time, it's not hard to play beside each other if you aren't a whining little bitch. Spilt screen was cool but we all know playing on tiny little screens sucked ass.
-
I love solder screen and I hate how now most of the games don't have it, my friends come over to my house frequently and why have to find something else to do because the old split screen games are boring for us now, and great new games are coming but they are all one player and I find that annoying, y would pay for a new copy of the game if it included spleen screen

Edited by Epic Wumbo: 9/9/2014 9:11:09 AMHonestly, What is wrong with people, Just because you guys dislike Split Screen does not mean it should not be implemented into the game. If you dislike split screen that's one thing, but if you request for it not to be implemented that's another. There is a simple solution to those who dislike split screen, Don't play it. However, unlike you there are many others who have to or even want to play with someone next to them. And for those who say it is not a game for split screen look at borderlands, It was a HUGE hit. Kinda goes to show that Split Screen Open World Games do work out. I mean everyone wins, People who want split screen get it, Bungie makes a MUCH bigger profit, and solo players are not affected AT ALL.
