Star Wars Battlefront is like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow - I've always wanted it, but it's never come into existence. It literally skipped an entire generation of gaming. There are kids alive today who have never heard of it. If my understanding is correct, multiple developers literally went out of business trying to create it. So far, it's currently developer (Dice) has produced nothing but a teaser trailer and SKYWALKER ranch video. So, in other words, I REALLY want it, but I don't trust it. I honestly will NOT pre order this game. I am not putting down non-refundable money for a game that will be pushed back AT LEAST 1 year after it's first supposed release date. HOWEVER, I will buy a limited edition after launch (if it's released at all!)

Wait so you went to a forum for destiny to ask if a different game is better?? Well I'm just going to play destiny and show you my favorite finger.
-
Well since Star Wars Battlefront is published by EA I am very sceptical about this Game.
-
3 RepliesSeriously why all the DICE hate. EA made them push the game out before it was finished. EA is basically the Emperor of the video game world. EA is the company with a track record of profits over consumers. I say let DICE redeem themselves. With their rep on the line, I think they will knock it out the park. And oh yeah...Destiny>>>>Battlefront
-
The Frostbite engine has been down scaled on its functionality, to make room for SIZE. They completely messed up bf3 with glitches. Bf4 was an atrocity. Without a doubt battlefront will be bought, be broken beyond belief, and it will get Patchtitutionalized over a year or more while they microtransactionate the crud out of it. I won't be buying it. DICE and it's games are pathetic beyond BFBC 1&2.

Destiny
-
Why not both? Hansel is so hot right now.
-
2 RepliesI was 15 when Battlefront 2 came out and have been waiting ever since for a new CONSOLE installment of that series. Unfortunately, I think it's taken too long for a new Battlefront game. At this point it's like having an ex-girlfriend who stomped on your heart knock on your front door after 9 years of not seeing her, but you already have a new gf. Would you really let her back in?
In reality I'll probably still play it anyway... just to see what it's like, you know?
-
Battle front has that one video which tells us nothing. Except they took pictures of snow and trees. Until they put out real footage the duh, destiny. But I did love me some bf 1 and 2 so my hopes are super friggin high.
-
Since my focus is on co-op not PvP Destiny by default is the more attractive option.
-
Both but for SW:BF i will be waiting to get it till after release so I can look at what they have done if it has the same netcode/issues as BF4 then I won't be buying it nor any future EA titles extreme? Maybe but I'm tired of games being sent out half finished and still unfinished even now.;
-
*cue mexican party* "Why not Both"
-
I want SW:BF to be good
-
destiny they still do not have working beta version if not working alpha version yet looks great but we have very little info about it so for all we know it could be like battlefield hardline where it is a just battlefield 4 with new textures pack. we don't know from the looks of trailer i think it will be delayed if they could not produce some gameplay to view instead of just looking at the engine.

Destiny wins. Dice will never be able to wipe the stain of BF4 away. Plus Bungie have changed the multi player experience and gaming. Dice will only be able to polish an established franchise. No original game play is expected nor would it be expected to work if they did.
-
2 RepliesYou can't ask questions like that, it's like choosing between 2 children.
-
Sorry destiny, Star Wars is still my favorite franchise
-
2 RepliesSW:BF is probably coming fall next year. I don't see Destiny still heavily competing for my time at that point.
-
I'm a huge Star Wars fan and the Battlefront series are easily my favorite games ever made. It's not even up for debate. I remember staying the night at a friends house when I was like 12 and pulling a 32 hours straight battlefront game session. The only reason I would say Destiny is because I trust Bungie way more than I do Dice. However if Dice does Battlefront justice it wins easily. Nothing against Bungie or Destiny, they just simply can't compete with something as close to my heart as the Battlefront series. So many good memories.
-
Destiny. Although I am getting both.
-
1 ReplyI'm getting both... They're my two most hyped games at the moment.
-
5 RepliesDice is involved, so Destiny. Before BF4 I would have been undecided.
-
3 RepliesEdited by paraffin alien: 8/22/2014 12:17:04 AMnot after brokenfield 4 people should have had there money refunded after this piece of crap from dice
-
7 RepliesDice... Bleh the 6-8 months of broken BF4 has left a sour taste in me mouth
-
2 RepliesDon't even care that Dice is making the game; I've loved the SW:BF series. I loved playing it. I still play it and bring it to friends' houses to play with them. This will be an amazing game to me, even if it has broken game mechanics. It wouldn't be the first time I enjoyed a game with bad mechanics.
-
That game... was the best ever made. Destiny hasn't come out yet so we will see. I hope destiny can be my new favorite but we will see.
