I would say more so than games like BF4 and the like. This is an awesome game. Period. If you don't like the PVP don't play it. If all you were going to play was PVP, then don't buy Destiny. Simple as that.

It's competitive, that's entirely subjective. But not skill based, there are some heavy balancing issues that need to be addressed.
