Pretty much. We don't know the story - at all. The thing that I keep coming back to whenever I see this story return is; why would a company like Bungie (who seems from the outside to be a decent employer) get rid of a good, problem free and talented employee who does his job well? The answer may well be that he wasn't, and that he was so problematic that the problems eclipsed his talent. You just don't jettison talented people over solvable problems. That's an excellent way to destroy a company. But I still stick to the 'we don't know' side of things. He may have been the victim of unfair treatment over something petty, or he may have very well deserved to be fired. The only thing I know for certain is that people who judge either side without really knowing the facts are just bored and like to stir up controversy to cure their own boredom.
