Destiny on PC in 2015? Kinda annoying for PC gamers if you don't own a console.
Ok so I am super mega hyped for this game, looks like the first truly "next generation" game in ages.
Still, I am primarily a PC gamer, I don't own any next gen consoles because I have no reason to (until now), and I have a solid PC setup with i5 @4.4GHz, GTX670 PE and 144Hz monitor.
It is a really big shame that I need to invest £350 into a next generation console in order to experience this game at 1080p, 30fps at the same time as the rest of the public for it's official release date on 9/9/14!
If Destiny comes out on PC in 2015, I will undoubtedly prefer to play it on PC because graphics / frame rate will all be much better.
I would assume that none of my progress or purchased additional content on PS4 would carry over to the PC version of the game?

hilarious, how PC master elite douchebags bragg how their MASTERZRIGGS costs 100000000 Dollars, how come that they don't have 400 bucks for a console. it's not like that Destiny is the only awesome Console exclusive game. you know what the greatest PC game of all is? the waiting game for the next Engine-Demo aka Crysis Games and such.

Nobody is making you do anything you either wait for a (possibly non-existent) PC version, or you buy a console because you can't wait.

How are you being forced to buy this game or a console to support it? Do you understand the difference between [u]need[/u] and [u]want[/u]? Do you even realize that your whining about spending money on an additional [u]luxury item[/u] and [u]entertainment[/u] while boasting about your PC specs. I am personally, very disappointed in how you have chosen to represent yourself to the community... you should feel ashamed. :(

You don't HAVE to, when it comes out on PC I will likely be playin it as well I'm not complaining I own the consoles for the exclusives because I can afford it. If you choose to put money into PC wait to play the game that way it'll be worth it.

There is nothing to suggest that Destiny will be out in 2015. Deej has only stated that they definatley arent saying "No" for it going to PC. Also, if you get a PS4 you'll get timed exclusives and other bonuses.

I have to buy it twice to play on ps3 and ps4. But you don't see me complaining about it. I want to play their game and I want to play with my friends on ps3. So if you don't want to buy a ps4 get a used ps3 or xbox 360. Save some money and get to enjoy the game with everybody on the 9th. I would say get a ps3 because you don't seem to need ps+ to play all the game modes.

How many companies spend time to make their games for the PC too? I can only think of a handful. Otherwise, if you have the money get a current gen system.

4 RepliesPS4: The Last Of Us Remastered, DrvieClub, The Order 1886 XOne: Sunset Overdrive, MCC, Rise of the Tomb Raider and so on, just few games that are coming for these 2 Consoles! The most of them You Will Never Experience on a PC! If you wan play them and you are interessted in these Games then go and get a Console! Otherwise i don't know what to say, because i don't believe that Destiny will hit PC for 2015 Fall or 2016!!!

1 ReplyYou don't have to buy the game twice that is your choice. I sure as hell wouldn't wait any longer. Kind of crazy cause people can't even wait a month. Then again if you haven't played the beta and don't play it on console of a friend or family's it'll be easier to wait for a PC port if it happens. If you try it before then, you may just say -blam!- it and end up getting it for whatever console you tried it on.

Eventually, pc games will see console ports, and the devs will see it as the absolute best decision they ever made because the game will sell millions more on consoles. Just look at minecraft. Already has sold millions more copies on playstation than on pc. Just face it, consoles may not be "better" from a [i]technical[/i] standpoint, but they are just the best way to play games. Any reason a pc gamer has why PC is better makes no sense. [spoiler]console games never get pc ports[/spoiler]
