No private matches means no tournament destiny.
No practicing with your friends.
No teaching your noob buddy how to land certain jumps.
No matches with just friends.
And this is good? You tool.
It wouldn't be hard to implement it into the game, and if you don't like it don't private matches don't play them.
If this game were to hit MLG it would significantly improve the competitive community

Honestly this game does not have a MLG competitive feel in the first place. Yes there is online competitive multi-player, but this multi-player is not a seperate entity to the game like COD's, GOW's, or Halo's. Unlike those games everything i do in any part of the game affects my character for every part of the game. The entire game is focused on a better gaming online social idea that has grown away from "I am better than you aspect of other games with a competitive multi-player. As it is right now I don't see this game being a MLG staple.

MLG would never go for Destiny. There's far too many variables with gear. You're talking about an organization that forbid its Halo players from using anything other than the default armor for matches because they were afraid of hitbox changes (despite Bungie insisting multiple times that the hitboxes were all identical).

World of warcraft was in MLG. League of legends is in MLG
