So lets hear your excuses for not playing this -blam!-ing awesome series of games. You may be thinking "But Raptor its just some stupid crappy looking lawyer ga..."
"OBJECTION!" It sure as hell is an attorney game but it has plenty of memorable characters, cases, and amazing humor. You'll be defending your client in murder cases and cross examining the bad guys in court. Add that to the mind bending, pulse pounding court room cases where using your wit and logic you have to prove your client not guilty with evidence, plus you get to yell things like, "TAKE THAT!" or "HOLD IT!". Outside of the court room you'll be finding evidence and piecing together the games rather complex cases in a variety of locations, where nothing is as it seems on the first day. Don't let the graphics fool you either, character sprites are well made and the fantastic soundtrack easily makes up for the lack of voiced dialogue.
I've found that if I get my friends over the initial hurdle of "Dude its just a point and click lawyer game" they fall in love with it in the first 5 minutes. The first Ace Attorney came out more than a decade ago and its characters/story and game play still stick out today. I want everyone who reads this thread to go give it a shot, I guarantee you, you will be pleasantly surprised, hell come back to the thread and tell me how much you LOVE it!
Its available on IOS, WII, DS and I am sure there are some ROM's floating around for all the games.
Don't just stand there GO! you'll be yelling "OBJECTION!" in no time! http://objection.mrdictionary.net/go.php?n=7493244

There are defiantly ROMs for it, but they're usually not be highest of quality for unjailbroken iPods. Anyways it's an amazing series that people would just put off since they have to read or since they can't shoot stuff. Likely from the ones that use "interactive movies" for some games....only Ace Attorney is text based... Amazing memorable characters, -blam!-ing great music, and just -blam!-ing breaking people down is great.

Because I'm busy making sure those lawyers have people to try.

1 ReplyWhat if I already played that amazing game
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Also unfortunately people don't have the mental capacity to play the game even though it's obviously text based (some people said 15$ was too steep for 4 episodes in dual destinies on ios apparantly they haven't heard of the 3DS price which is 30$ so half off the 3DS version is not enough for their tiny wallets.

Waiting for the Ace Attorney collection on the 3DS

3 RepliesI love the franchise espacially Ace Attorny:Apollo justice

3 RepliesOne of my favourite franchises of all time. Though it's gone downhill lately, the original trilogy will always be the GOAT. No other game has come close to eliciting the kind of emotion in me Case 4 of the 2nd game did. I was on my DS all night playing it. AAI2 has recently had a full fan translation patch released. I helped localise some of it a few couple of years back. Ghost Trick is a legendary Shu Takumi game as well.
