A lot of people are going to hate me for this, but I liked Benedict cumberbatch's Kahn a lot more than Ricardo Monteblanc.

Khan in the Original Series is the same character as the one in the movie. In TWOK he was a bitter man that blamed Kirk for the death of his wife and the majority of his people. Into Darkness Khan is a different character. He would have been a better character if his name would not have been Khan. He was interesting in his own right, but being named Khan, he did not live up to the expectations of his namesake.

I liked the actor in into darkness a bit more but he was still a bad choice. Would it have been so difficult to find a guy with a bit of muscle tone to represent a genetically modified super human?? Star Trek 2 was just so superior in every way imaginable.
