Id like to point out this isnt a big FPS game like halo or call of duty or battlefield its an mmorpg (massive multiplayer ROLE PLAYING GAME). no mmorpg that ive ever played or known of has split screen. and no free roam mmorpg has private matches.so i agree with u samuel i dont mind it because i didnt expect it in the first place. I love FPS and i love MMORPG's some things dont mix and i think destiny has gotten the mixture just perfect.

yeah I also dont see the need for splitscreen. I mean i wouldnt hurt me at all if they added it but I dont see why they should. no private matches will also not affect me at all but I understand that clans want to train and want to have clan matches or just matches with their friends. Do we know why there are none? Are the PvP mathces hosted on Bungie servers and private matches would be local? maybe thats the problem they'd need to fix and its alot of work.....idk much about this but I think they got a reason not to add it

it would be hard to program 2 differant match making programs into one game. i expect like clan halls eventually or special clan areas
