If recovery has an effect in PvP, I believe the other two stats do as well.
But I never tested it so I don't know.

I think you're right. When I first started playing my hunter, with a high agility build, I could not figure out why I continually got smoked. When I switched my build to more armor, i still get smoked lol, but not as frequently. I would think your armor had something to do with it, but since your weapons attack power doesn't really matter, I would think the same goes for your defense.
