It actually started in halo. some kids though he was all pro, and had to carry me, cause he only played MLG modes. Then I -blam!- him in a 'SWAT' private match several times in a row and he never talked it me again, but got all his "MLG" friends to harass me. Then CoD just when downhill, and then they started to allow people it make emblems, or pick them, and I find the people I can;t stand all like to fly MLG colors. Cause they so pro. I miss the old CoD games like WaW, people moved around the map, and worked as a team, and there was always a tactic to flush out people who hide in an area, or where using the 'overpowered' weapons (Oh no, stopping power MP40 is a two shot kill, oh no, my double tap Thompson puts out 4 (three to kill) Before your second shot) TACTICS! Back when because map awareness and route around the maps got me to top 100,000 in kills worldwide, with only 2 hours of gameplay allowed a day (yeas i was a kids gamer but trash talking never was my style, what ever happened to people like that D: ) Back when player with player who here better then you meant, they could show you things and give advice on what to do (Was playing with a person who is a good friend that was top 50 in the world in WaW,) I miss those days D: today's CoD seems to be full of rewarding people who can sit in a corner, people who trash talk, or mute everyone to avoid trash talk and things in the game that are overpowered enough that you cannot beat the weapon they are using unless you have the same weapon. Alot of my friends now refuse to play CoD, cause they feel the game and community has gone downhill so far..... Now to the point of all this, I feel that it is MLG's fault almost (Almost). ITs not so much directly, but its all the people who think they are "MLG pro" so have become so stat based that a 1.5+ KD mean you're "garbage", so they use small exploits of sitting in a blind corner for 5 minutes of the game til someone walks by, or sticks to a gun that is more bs then most. Honestly, I find it more fun to run around with my akimbo magnums with acog scopes on them, working on getting 200 kills for an emblem of a dog in 3d glasses with the title "I have no Idea what I am doing." rather then going 3+kdr.
