That's like a high school Bball player that loves Bball but Hates NBA..
I hate how it's casual vs. competitive (hardcore) players in the forums..
Shouldn't we be helping each other to make a game that we all love to be better?
How can private matches hurt or spoil the fun for casual gamers?
Edit: well at least we ALL agree, that private matches won't hurt anyone by adding it to the game. Thank you for the posts, I have a bigger understanding for both sides.

Because everyone who prefers the campaign/non-PvP content is called a "casual" by those who play PvP nearly exclusively. I tend to play on the higher difficulties in Hardcore mode in Diablo 3, does that still make me a "casual"? I go for 100% completion in every RPG I play. Guess that still makes me a "casual", huh? Maybe if MLG gamers could start referring to everyone who games as a gamer and not a "casual", I might begin to care about it.
