Go into the crucible. Play. Win. Simple. Just because they're not using private lobbies doesn't mean you can't play against your friends. I played against people in my fireteam in the beta. No private lobbies also means fewer tryhards. Look at how hard they're complaining on the forums about this. Good riddance, I say. As for tournaments, I have a feeling Bungie has something better up their sleeve. Face it. This in Bungie's game, not yours, not mine. They make the rules. They make the rules to make the best game they can. If it doesn't fit into your comfort zone for what an FPS should be, don't play. Go back to whatever other series caters to you. Bungie has a history of making unorthodox moves, and history shows that they were the right ones. What was considered so strange at the time became the standard. They've been at this for 20 years or more. They know what they're doing. And I for one am looking forward to Bungie world domination.

The worst thing was that it was largely PvP. It boggles the mind that Respawn would release a PvP game without basic MM tools. We're seeing the repeat in Destiny. No PvP private matches No PvE MM in raids No proximity voice chat No in game clan management tools [url]http://i.imgur.com/vQEbYDS.jpg[/url] Would something like this be too much to ask for? We're talking basic tools which have been in every game for 10 years just to allow people to organise themselves into matches and make friends without turning your friends list into a complete cluster--blam!-. The so called, "social aspect" of the game which keeps being brought up is just asinine when the tools and ability to manage a social environment in destiny just aren't there. And no, poking around on a forum and a dodgy iPhone app doesn't cut it.

Here is a little info for the normal player in regards to private lobbies. #1. You can't play against your friends ever! #2. Competitive guys get bored beating up on normal players so they make lobbies with other competitive guys so neither of them have to spend all day beating up on you. #3. You will enjoy your time much more when these guys are in their own private games #4. People cannot play tournaments without private lobbies. Many people are curious and like to watch the top players in action to see how they do what they do. Without this the majority will just quit because there is no incentive, nothing to strive for. What are the issues in regards to private lobbies? I've seen a whole load of 'noo pls no bungie' posts but nobody has yet to formulate any argument against the inclusion. Debate me.
