I hate how it's casual vs. competitive (hardcore) players in the forums..
Shouldn't we be helping each other to make a game that we all love to be better?
How can private matches hurt or spoil the fun for casual gamers?
Edit: well at least we ALL agree, that private matches won't hurt anyone by adding it to the game. Thank you for the posts, I have a bigger understanding for both sides.

These people happen to be MLG wannabes in many cases. Your comparison leads me to think that you believe that casuals aspire to going "pro" when, back here on earth, we just want to enjoy the game. The fact that there is a distinction between the "casual" and "hardcore" crowd is part of the problem.
