Halo 2 Serial key lost
I had to re-install halo 2 vista, because I tried to dowload a custom-map which didn't work, and i had to change cfg files, blahblah, and it screwed up. Anyways, I don't have the case anymore ( I keep my games in jewel cases to save space). I wrote the serial key down somewhere but I lost that. I was wondering if somebody could post/message me their serial code (if it's not against the rules)? Thanks.

This is my cd-key: GYOUA-REACO-MPLET-EDOUC-HEBAG You can use the code, as long as you don't go online. :) PS: If you think I'm being offensive, my implication is that I believe that everyone who is smart enough to figure out how to get on the internet and register on a forum, has the understanding that: 1) Asking for cd-keys is an infringement on forum policy. and 2) It displays their ignorance and stupidity, and while they do not deserve to be banned, I believe that they qualify to be sent to the following site. Use regedit, you may be able to recover the key from your system registry files. Also, system restore might work, though it can be pretty unreliable. [Edited on 01.29.2008 7:37 PM PST]

Not always, some people are so stupid they give their CD-Keys online for no reason.

A word of help: Never ask for a CD key online. You'll just be wasting your time.

To add to that: whenever a key is entered online, it is tied to the account(s) on that PC.

Always keep everything your game comes with. Sorry, but you're going to have to buy the game again.
