I agree with you, but I can't think of a single movie where the entire trailer didn't end up being in the movie,.

Guardians of the Galaxy. Marvel's trailer they showed Gamora topless hiding herself, never made it into the theatrical version. All things considered it was still a great movie, but was slightly hoping to see that scene.

I'm honestly thinking back, and I go to the movies at least once a week.

I can't remember what it was. It was in early 90 a sci fi movie. I was with a friend and we both noticed scene was missing. It was probably a crappy movie.
